Kinetic Events Staffing is looking for an experienced Team Lead to manage a small team of staff at a medical forum in Boston 4/30-5/2 and 5/7-5/9. This is a great opportunity to join our roster as we will have other events in Boston throughout the spring, summer and fall.
Job/Event Description
- Team Lead duties will include checking in and checking out staff, managing and administering breaks, documenting ratings and reviews of each staff member, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, coaching and disciplining staff when necessary and handling incidents and conflicts in real time.
- Mandatory paid one hour Team Lead training must be completed pre-shift.
- Team Lead is a working lead and will be required to perform the same duties as staff: registration, info desk support, meeting room management, time keeping, mic running, etc.
- Team Lead will manage 2 staff per shift.
- Pay rate for this job is $27/hr.
- Rest breaks are paid, parking reimbursed post-event.
Shift Dates/Times (Must be available all days = 54 hours total)
- 4/30: 2pm-8pm
- 5/1: 8am-6pm
- 5/2: 8am-5pm
- 5/7: 2pm-8pm
- 5/8: 8am-6pm
- 5/9: 8am-5pm
Ideal Candidates
- Previous leadership & people management experience required.
- Previous brand ambassador and/or extensive event experience required.
- Must be friendly, outgoing and professional.
- Must be comfortable standing for the extended periods of time and interacting with groups of people.
