Kinetic Events Staffing is in search of event staff for an upcoming conference taking place at The Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood in Hollywood, FL from Sunday, May 4th to Friday, May 9th.

Job Description

  • Staff will be assisting our client with registration, room monitoring, badge scanning, bag stuffing, info desk support, and other general event duties.
  • There is a mandatory paid onsite training on Monday, May 5th from 11am-4pm.
  • Pay is $23/hour - we pay weekly via direct deposit!
  • Parking will be validated onsite and/or reimbursed post-event.
  • Staff will need to wear their own black slacks or black jeans (no holes, rips, or tears), black blouse or button-up and black professional shoes.

SCHEDULE 1

  • Monday, May 5th, 2025: 11am-4pm (Mandatory Onsite Training Day)
  • Tuesday, May 6th, 2025: 7am-430pm
  • Wednesday, May 7th, 2025: 12pm-5pm
  • Thursday, May 8th, 2025: 12pm-5pm

SCHEDULE 2

  • Monday May 5th, 2025: 11am-7pm (Mandatory Onsite Training Day + Additional Shift from 4pm-7pm)
  • Tuesday May 6th, 2025: 7am-7pm
  • Wednesday, May 7th, 2025: 7am-630pm
  • Thursday, May 8th, 2025: 7am-630pm

Limited Shifts Available:

Sunday May 4th, 2025: 11am-7pm & Friday May 9th, 2025: 10am-3pm

Job Requirements

  • Must have a considerable background in front-facing customer service roles.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a standard shift (typically 4-12 hours), except during designated rest breaks and meal periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts.
  • Must have a proficiency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional demeanor, appearance, and actions while on the job.
  • Limited phone use during shifts.
  • Must adhere to all legal regulations and company policies set by Kinetic Events Staffing.

Ideal Candidates

  • Previous event or hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Flexible and adaptable as job duties and schedules may change based on client needs.
  • Tech-savvy and willing to learn new tasks and skills.
  • Local to Miami area. Kinetic Events/our clients do not provide travel reimbursements.
